The news is filled with information to enlighten voters.  An important topic must be child abuse and domestic violence.

Domestic violence panel brings training to low-level offenders in Broome County  –

According to the comptroller’s office, cases have risen by 8.7% since 2019.

Local district attorneys are finding a majority of the crime they’re prosecuting relates back to this issue.

“It just blew me away how many cases were coming in that had underlying domestic violence. It’s definitely a problem,” Broome County District Attorney Paul Battisti said.

LAWSUIT: Attorney, Akshar improperly pursued arrest  –

Millus, in court papers arguing to have the lawsuit dismissed, said it “attempts to convert a common domestic relations dispute into a civil rights action,” but there is no evidence of any abuse of law enforcement or political influence in this case.

“Conspiracy theorists can find conspiracies under any set of circumstances,” Millus said in court papers. “But there is no proof of a conspiracy here, any more than there is proof that the first moon landing was a hoax.”

Fast-forward several years and this duo seem allied in setting up law enforcement as they wish.  This could leave out “others”.  Add to this that their wives are working to support their idea of governance, paid for by taxpayers.

Crime Victim’s Assistance Center highlights resources for survivors– Executive Director for C.V.A.C. Christine Battisti said counseling, case management, legal advocacy, and medical advocacy are available for survivors.

One notices an imposition of patriarchy and networking into much of Southern Tier politics.  One wonders that those currently achieving political ascendancy haven’t noticed the same problems that are ballooning in The Southern Tier now.  The reports of various domestic and child abuse in our area are revolting.

To now surface as White Knights is a day late and a dollar short, and may work to whitewash their own greed and exploitation.

The subterfuge and presumption of religious morality only adds to the offense.  C-Span spoke to this topic this morning (separation of church and state), precisely some people suggest due to the tradition of abusing the principles of, for example, Jesus Christ.

Meanwhile in Broome County, we have been sullied with the appearance of one who seems to encourage Christian/Evangelical Nationalism to support these characters House Speaker Mike Johnson to travel to Binghamton for event with Rep. Molinaro  –

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., will travel to Binghamton Thursday for an event with Republican U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro focused on law enforcement funding and public safety. 

The Thursday meeting will be at the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and is said to feature sheriff’s deputies, neighboring law enforcement, other first responders and families. 

Johnson’s trip comes as Molinaro seeks reelection in the 19th Congressional District. Broome County is the most-populous county there and could play a large role in in the upcoming election. Molinaro is being challenged by Democrat Josh Riley, who is from Endicott, a village just outside Binghamton. Molinaro flipped the seat in 2022, defeating Riley by about 4,500 votes.

Oklahoma voters kick out local official tied to white nationalist groups– Judd Blevins lost his position as Enid’s ward 1 council member, according to Oklahoma’s state election board. The move comes months after Blevin was shown to have attended a deadly neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017 and was later shown to have led an Oklahoma chapter of the white nationalist group Identity Evropa.–end of guardian info–
