Something much broader then incidental legislation has worked to place in positions of helplessness, We The People. Capitalism and democracy do not co-exist; and this is the deep-seated fallacy based on confusion of a large portion of MAGA people, who are aimlessly supporting precisely that, in compliance with their orange oligarchical leader.
As evidence one will offer personal anecdotes from 45 years invested in the financial industry. One took seriously the responsibilities of learning the FACTS about the financial industry. Eventually one came to understand the nebulous character of the training that catered toward oligarchy. A few examples follow. Your personal research will further illuminate.
One earned respectable designation of CLU, ChFC, and the preliminary light-weight training of LUTC. These are industry-sponsored training programs that seem to inform so-called lawmakers. In each of these programs, inevitably the topic of Social Security Earned Benefits were included; never were these worker-earned benefits defined as entitlements, and probably still aren’t. Financial representatives were indoctrinated into this mindset, and then sent out among the public to so inform financial services customers. In the discussion on C-Span, Vance Ginn insisted that Social Security Earned Benefits are instead entitlements, without justification or explanation. The Financial Industry should have but has failed to comment on the cynical renaming of the rights of workers.
Another interesting legal but ultimately questionable licensing training is to sell Limited Partnerships. Briefly the intention of limited partnership is a financial vehicle to permit the investor to put at risk the amount of their choice to fund what ostensibly could be a venture capital. All well and good. The investor puts at risk only the amount chosen and no more, in a venture that can be wildly lucrative. The non-silent partner takes the risks, receives rewards, and usually invests in what typically is called development. Each year, the investor can write off the amount of investment from income taxes. If in a 25% tax bracket, this can be a “tax savings” which can be defined as a return on investment, and also a transfer of governmental funding from the public sector to private developers. The investor may or may not make a profit and may or may not lose all of the investment. With a tax saving that is representative of high-income earners. the investor doesn’t care. The financial adviser is trained into the merits without mention of the ostensible bait-and-switch of governmental funding from the public sector to the private sector.
One notices many such “laws” that have been passed by networked politicians on the take from campaign contributions due to Citizens United.
For example illegal are Pyramid Schemes. However the criminally intended including lawmakers can work this system while flying under the radar of legality. An example are fracking-industry regulations in which lawmakers and industry leaders collaborate to set up laws that enable protection for industry while doing actual harm to humanity and nature.
We need to watch out for such collaborating networks of capitalistic hierarchical Establishment characters who then use our judicial system to “crack down” on We The People who speak out.
This is a reason a diversity of views must be heard and respected as the best defense against looming oligarchical shenanigans. Local government where self-interest can hide behind religious integrity is a good place to begin..
Many Southern Tier of NYS residents, where the Susquehanna River can lazily undulate or rage through destroying neighborhoods, we find Mr. Yass funding our own orange oligarchical leader— Republican trading firm owner and TikTok investor Yass emerges as top donor in US election The funds have gone to support former rivals of Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination, as well as a raft of groups supporting school choice, programs that use taxpayer dollars to send students to private and religious schools.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., will travel to Binghamton Thursday for an event with Republican U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro focused on law enforcement funding and public safety.
The Thursday meeting will be at the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and is said to feature sheriff’s deputies, neighboring law enforcement, other first responders and families.
Johnson’s trip comes as Molinaro seeks reelection in the 19th Congressional District. Broome County is the most-populous county there and could play a large role in in the upcoming election. Molinaro is being challenged by Democrat Josh Riley, who is from Endicott, a village just outside Binghamton. Molinaro flipped the seat in 2022, defeating Riley by about 4,500 votes.

The same “hard-on-crime” network in Broome County, NY, have spoken of more laws to “crack down” on the public, as pertains to attacks against EMT and law enforcement officers. One sees little to no negative feelings toward law enforcement, aside from open conversation on the topic, including at Binghamton Board Meetings. As to attacks against our EMT volunteers, who are we, our neighbors, our families, pulling the bacon out of the fire for We The People. Continue to consider that our “Hard-on-crime sycophants” support their orange oligarch who has announced he will forgive insurrections who specifically attacked law enforcement officers.
