CURTAIN OF INDOCTRINATION
A Free Press is illusive in the USA in 2023. Collaboration between business interests and government currently control a preponderance of what passes as news; and censorship seems used to silence diverse views.
The 2-Party Democratic/Republican duopoly that seems held in place byway of Citizens United and ALEC (www.alec.org) is the manifestation of what many people recognize as corruption in our governing system. In other words, this is more like pay-to-play than a democracy.
One knows nothing about the merits of this situation, but transparency seems necessary.

Private jets will bring oligarchs in pretense of help to Maui to multiply the environmental offenses against nature. Inevitably the rebuild will promote the interests of such individuals. — https://www.commondreams.org/news/lahaina-fire-disaster-capitalism – “Lahaina residents worry that rebuilt homes in their Maui town could slip into the hands of affluent outsiders seeking a tropical haven rather than homegrown residents who give the Hawaiian island its spirit and identity,” The Associated Press wrote on social media Sunday, sharing new reporting from Hawaii.

Pretense of oligarchical concern need to be examined for what it seems, self indulgence. At the core is greed and ego.

Bill Maher SCHOOLED by Marianne Williamson on “Club Random”
–end of mariannewilliamson info–Listen Bill Maher “define” Marianne Williamson while blissfully ignoring Citizens United. This guy seems so ’70’s patriarchal.
C-Span hosted 2 discussions today that highlighted topics of concern for people, without interjecting a topic that enables turpitude in lifestyle, which is greed. Greed is dressed up for politics to be presentable, in the Supreme Court ruling called Citizens United, that legalizes without legitimizing corruption in the electoral process. Corruption in the electoral process has given us corruption in the 3-Branches where self enrichment takes precedence over honest governance.
The following 2 topics of discussion are relevant but incoherent without a backdrop of the motivation of greed.

History would be informative if the US offered an educational system about reality and history rather than inculcation of the public into a system of hierarchical capitalism where greed is the point.
One’s personal thought as to the reason as asked below, is money laundering.—–

Aug 14 – I am not a big fan of Federal Government disaster relief. Too much of the time the money never gets to those who need it most, and too often Washington’s armies of disaster “experts” are more interested in pushing people around than helping them.
Nevertheless, it’s hard to look at recent footage of the devastation in Maui and then hear President Biden tell Congress that he needs another $24 billion for Ukraine. How can this Administration continue to justify tens of billions of dollars for this losing war that is not in our interest while the rest of the United States disintegrates?

For instance, one went through years of education hearing about The War of 1812 without actually understanding anything about that event. In 2023, one picked up a book that enlightens by author James Mooney called “History, Myths, And Sacred Formulas Of The Cherokees”. After describing events relating to relationships between “Americans (colonists)”, Indigenous People and in particular the Cherokee tribe, French, and Spanish in the Southern portion of NYS, along with a bit from the entirety of the 13 colonies, mention was made about The War of 1812. Without boring anyone who isn’t motivated to investigate FACTual history for themselves, in a nutshell, what emerges isn’t necessarily laudatory for the style and goal of government in the USA. To understand actual history allows one to step outside of indoctrination and see from a different perspective.
The takeaway is a picture of imperialism that seems to have become the story of America, behind the fantasy of exceptionalism. (Exceptionalism is another curtain)
This foundation of imperialism permits discussion that ignores too much of vital views such as human rights and natural rights, to keep it relevant to most people. And also to other values that may be more illusive.
In 1812 it was Indigenous people; in 2023 it may be workers.—
What we are witnessing with such increasingly common instances is capitalism-induced climate change intersecting with capitalism-induced labor exploitation. It’s a deadly combination and one that is being discussed in ways that obscure its causes and solutions.–end of mronline info–

LIVE: The Coordinated Gov’t Onslaught Against Leftist Orgs Is Growing
–end of leecamp info–What Mr. Camp may be too young to remember as he speaks of Marco Rubio is that he is probably 2nd generation of Cubans fleeing the Castro Revolution, that seems to have created a rather p—y enclave in Florida. This opens the door to fascinating opines. (CIA, organized crime, JFK, etc., etc.) But this is just one person’s imagination run amok, as it will.
Indigenous people are still in the game. We should ask them how. —
As you know, the Lakota People’s Law Project always aims to safeguard sovereignty, protect children, and return the sacred. Building movements that win Native and environmental justice begins with keeping each other safe. That’s why, today, I’m excited to share that August is National Make-A-Will Month — and we’re launching a new partnership with FreeWill.
This is a special opportunity to simplify what can seem like a difficult process. Estate planning can come with hurdles such as cost and time commitments, but Lakota Law elected to partner with FreeWill’s team of lawyers, designers, engineers, and nonprofit professionals because they make the process more accessible to everyone. Their secure online tool allows you to make or update your will in about 20 minutes, for free!
Around two thirds of adults in the U.S. don’t have an up-to-date will. National Make-A-Will Month encourages us all to think about the future for our families and the health of Unci Maka — our Grandmother Earth.
While using FreeWill, you’ll have the chance to include a gift to the Lakota People’s Law Project in your plans — and of course, we’ll be grateful if you do! While this contribution costs nothing today, it will build a legacy that tackles Native and environmental justice head-on, enacting timely, tangible solutions in Lakota Country and beyond.
Please know that FreeWill is free and available for you to use regardless of whether or not you include us in your plans, and we’re happy to assist if you have any questions or concerns. Don’t hesitate to reach out to our development manager, Anna Mason — anna@lakotalaw.org — and she’ll be happy to talk things through with you.
Wopila — thank you for reading, and I hope this is of value to you!
