US imperialism is based upon the notion of “spreading democracy” around the globe as the US inflicts capitalism which is hierarchical and anti-democratic upon American citizens at home.  Reagan accosted America with Reaganomics so now Biden in a strange twist of emulation chooses to hook his star to the “Trickle Down” principles and has self-labeled policies as Bidenomics.  So Biden can inflict “Trickle Down” without saying the offensive reality.

Other language gymnastics are apparent.  Mr. Holtz-Eskin stared into the C-Span camera this morning (link below) and boldly informed the American people that “inflation is coming down”, as he ‘splained to a caller who asked the reason for the anomaly of “inflation coming down” while costs for living are not.

One hears little to nothing about the costs of insurance, both home and auto, that have increased,  by way of the liability transferred to the general public of global warming that is a component in the unprecedented profits by business that uses natural resources and human resources as though business are entitled to both.  

Social Security was mentioned by several callers, and the misstatement that Social Security is an entitlement was corrected by callers who reminded that Social Security is an Earned Benefit paid for by the workers over 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 years of tax on income.  Capitalistic hierarchy recently attempted the bait-and-switch, using state/business-owned MSM to spread the lie that Social Security is an entitlement.  Anyone can investigate for themselves the financial industry/government approved training of financial representatives in any and all levels of education to find that financial representatives have been schooled that Social Security is an Earned Benefit and then said reps were marched out into the public to spread the good news.  This surely motivated compliant workers to contribute seriously large portions of remuneration to the government for their future Earned Benefit.  All levels of training such as LUTC, ChFC, CLU and CFP use the Social Security standard of Earned Benefit.

Legislatively-mandated continuing education use the standard of Earned Benefit for Social Security.

If Social Security Earned Benefits are now entitlements, this feels like a monumental bait-and-switch by the legislative/business partnership that has worked to transform “our system” from a democracy to capitalism.  

And this is education in the financial industry.  Education under control of hierarchical capitalism is as cynical.  One has heard those holding degrees from institutions of higher learning parrot notions of superiority when FACTually they are simply indoctrinated into capitalism.  They are also shackled to capitalism by ridiculous levels of student debt that enriched hierarchy while diminishing the mental capacities of graduates to critically think.  Hubris seems the only gained characteristic from too much of the educational system.

Mr.Holtz-Eakin was also asked about the puny taxation of corporations in 2023 as compared to the robust taxation of corporations in the 1950’s.  His answer was another of interest as Mr. Holtz-Eakin said (paraphrase) that in the ’50;s US corporations held a worldwide monopoly and could therefore afford said taxation, in direct challenge to the FACT of unheard-of profiteering of corporations in 2023.  And to add insult to injury, Mr. Holtz-Eakin said this without giggling.

One heard a MSM speaker remind Americans of the Constitutionally protected right to travel.  Who would suggest differently; but what about common sense?  Advertising is the tool by which some people have been indoctrinated into viewing travel as an act of sophistication and superiority, rather like owning a degree from an institution of higher learning.  Be that as it may, in our current global warming crisis, and considering the general critical thinking skills of so many people, travel may not work any better than holding a degree to institutions of higher learning.  Infinite growth using finite resources is nonsense, even if Constitutional.

Denial may be embedded in the thinking of so many who straddle the transportation v. global warming expanding chasm.  Some lawmakers stress the need for helicopter rides for the tourists to national parks when such frivolous childishness uphold both deterioration of wild places and the environment.  Anecdotally one recalls a national park speech by Obama who vacuously seemed to interject fun into a trip to the wilderness parks, by suggesting a stop on the way to purchase an off-track vehicle with which to terrorize people and animals in otherwise pristine recesses.

As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate——–

 This is a reminder of how much we don’t know.  This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought.  We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate.  Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United.  But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy.  Who knew?

Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
