COMMUNISM AND CAPITALISM

Censorship by capitalistic proponents doesn’t permit ideas to infiltrate into the notice of Americans. As one who has as little use for communism as for capitalism because they both seem hierarchical, yet censorship of ideas seem the danger.

The sign was barely bolted into place before conservatives demanded its removal, embarrassed apparently that the state might recognize someone who devoted her life to fighting for workers’ rights, women’s right to vote, birth control, civil liberties, and economic equality. But it was Flynn’s leadership in the Communist Party USA that really boiled their blood.“This is a devout communist,” complained Joseph Kenney, a Republican member of the Executive Council, the five-person body that approves state contracts, judicial nominees, and other positions. How can we possibly promote her propaganda, which still exists now through this sign in downtown Concord?
But in a state with the motto “Live Free or Die,” is there really any better figure to represent that rebellious spirit than “The Rebel Girl” herself?
Flynn earned her Rebel Girl nickname doing battle against the same kind of reactionary politics expressed by Kenney. She made her debut as an activist at the age of 15, giving her first public speech, “What Socialism Will Do for Women,” at the Harlem Socialist Club in New York.

Centralization and consolidation is a feature of capitalism by which profits can be increased for hierarchy while cost and liability increase to the general public. In energy production this can be recognized in a grid that is so interconnected that an accident, attack, or weather emergency in one location has far-flung impact. Wind, hydro and solar energy production are uniquely positioned to support local-community grids that can be independent and seem to promote retention of wealth within a community. The current system of capitalism, when used in renewable-energy production, simply perpetuates the problems of predatory exploitation of both nature and people. Not much will change if a renewable-energy production is owned by the same cast of characters that have given us a quasi-dictatorship in which wealth is transferred from the 100% to the 1%.
Who doesn’t know the US government is non responsive to the real-time requirements of American citizens? Better to be a foreign-nation oligarch requesting help from Washington, D. C., than to be We The People.

It is vital that corporate domination of renewable energy is challenged, combined with establishing the case for increased public investment and ownership of renewable energy.
Challenge and replace the obsession with ESG:
Use the weaknesses in Environment, Social, and Governance to challenge the performance of private renewable energy companies. ESG should be replaced with a commitment to undertaking rigorous and comprehensive equality impact assessments. This should be modelled on the best practice Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (Equality Commission for Northern Island, 2010). All renewable energy projects should be subjected to comprehensive and rigorous economic, equality, social and environmental impact assessments and cost/benefit analyses and include how human and labour rights will be advanced and evidenced.

The untold story in the Climate Change conversation has been the awakening of local-community members and the growing demand for human and natural rights to be honored. MSM censorship isn’t only for 3rd-Party political candidates.

To stop the proposed Springfield-Longmeadow Eversource pipeline and to call for a halt on new gas projects in Massachusetts
Despite changing the date due to rain, a lively crowd of over 170 people rallied at Stearns Square on Sunday and marched from there to Bliss Street Regulator Station. A diverse and enthusiastic group, they joined Springfield residents and included representatives from the 153 organizations across Massachusetts that co-sponsored the action.

Unless the US reaction to national security issues is nothing other than a clown-car show, the response to 9/11 certainly has been a boon to The Military-Industrial Complex. —

The wars the United States waged and fueled in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, and Pakistan following September 11, 2001 caused at least 4.5 million deaths, according to a report by Brown University.
Nearly a million of the people who lost their lives died in fighting, whereas some 3.6 to 3.7 million were indirect deaths, due to health and economic problems caused by the wars, such as diseases, malnutrition, and destruction of infrastructure.

As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-
