As one who supports the rights of the people in Ukraine, one also questions the ‘splanation for supporting the war by the USA, which seem especially deadly for Ukrainians, as we consider that the ubiquitous reason for said support is the Ukrainian desire for “Western values”.  One watches the same delusion among so many Americans, on the topic of capitalism that has been superimposed over democracy as “our system”.  If Americans who are treading water in this delusion have been so easily deluded, is it possible that Ukrainians have also been deluded in considering “Western values” as living in a veritable Disney World.  In other words, to suggest the Ukrainian people enduring war do so from an enlightened position, is questionable.

Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
