A DEVELOPED COUNTRY
Would a developed country actually have such chaos as does the USA?

The US view is purely transactional and self serving. To clarify that statement, American oligarchy supports systems that enrich hierarchical Establishment, with little to no concern for Ukraine local community members or for the US public interests. War does nothing for either.

A few weeks later, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin visited Kyiv, and following the trip, Austin spoke at a news conference at an undisclosed location in Poland and said, “We want to see Russia weakened.” There is no direct evidence that Johnson, Blinken, and Austin directly pressured Zelenskyy to withdraw from the interim negotiations, but there is sufficient circumstantial evidence to suggest that this was the case.
Ukrainians have been paying a terrible price for the failure of ensuring sensible and reasonable negotiations from 2014 to February 2022—which could have prevented the invasion by Russia in the first place, and once the war started, could have led to the end of this war. All wars end in negotiations, but these negotiations to end wars should be permitted to restart.-end of countercurrents info–

As book banning, media blacklisting and school board prohibitions on teaching history accelerate, and as a new cold war with Russia is being launched, it is important for Americans to remember when the First Amendment was forgotten in Hollywood.–end of mronline info–
Deflection by accusing communism enables capitalism to flourish to the detriment of the US public, as is evident in 2022.
Intellectual honesty calls into question US hierarchical Establishment interference in an invasion of Ukraine by Russia while Native Americans have been ignored as pertains to their natural rights. From lakotalaw — Han, Mitakuyepi. I’ll start by thanking every one of you who supported our Oceti Vote event this past weekend. Your friendship helped to create something very special — a successful Native voter outreach campaign and also a true celebration of our Lakota culture. Today we’re submitting the many voter registrations we gathered, and we’ll have a lot more to share with you once we’ve all had a chance to look back at everything.
In the meantime, I’d like to draw your attention to something important from our sister org, Let’s Green CA! They’ve created a solidarity action to protect the Juristac — the ancestral lands of the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, Indigenous People in what is now called Northern California. As Santa Clara County evaluates an environmental impact report on a proposed sand and gravel mining project that could desecrate these sacred lands, our team is helping the band gather input that makes it clear: there should be no mining at Juristac!
The Lakota People’s Law Project and Let’s Green CA! (which also just got a climate equity bill signed into law in California) take both environmental and Indigenous justice extremely seriously. The two are inextricably intertwined, because far too often, Indigenous communities wind up on the frontlines battling extractive industry which demonstrates no regard for Unci Maka, our Grandmother Earth, nor for us as this land’s first inhabitants and stewards.
The Amah Mutsun Band’s fight to protect the Juristac from being torn asunder by miners sounds a lot like our fight to stop gold, uranium, and lithium mining in our sacred He Sapa — the Black Hills. Our relatives in so-called Nevada have a similar fight on their hands with the lithium mining at Thacker Pass. And then there are all the oil pipelines — Dakota Access, Keystone XL, Line 3 — you have helped us resist.
It’s critical that we continue to stand in solidarity with one another every step of the way, each time any project imperils Unci Maka and the future we wish to create for the next seven generations. By widening our circle, we increase our power. So, please do keep tabs on the good work of Let’s Green CA! Rest assured that together, we can and will continue to win justice — for Indigenous People and for our Grandmother Earth.
Wopila tanka — thank you for your friendship and solidarity!

C-Span hosted a discussion about the dismal educational results for many American students. I have no children but as one who has paid NYS school taxes since 1972, I’ll jump in. Here’s a few thoughts—-
*Paying school taxes was a civic duty one accepted in order that we don’t have uneducated children with an inability to think independently.
*One has heard too many youngsters demand reductions in earned benefits for retirees, as pay back
*Apparently children have been educated into capitalism
*Teachers are currently used as babysitters so parents can “earn income” for the family in a system that once understood the value of parents in the home for children
*This feels like institutionalization of families, despite the rhetoric of family values in the USA
*Capitalism works most efficiently when every adult with the ability to earn an income, does so
*Families function well, one dares suggest, when parents have the time and energy to invest both in their children
*Functional families have the resources required to pay bills, enjoy discretionary time, and are permitted to decide how their children will be educated and who they can become
C-Span aired a portion of a debate from Georgia between Kemp and Abrams. They are political representatives of the D&R duopoly. Abrams described that a Georgia budget surplus would be used in her Administration for educational purposes. Kemp said he was the reason there is a budget surplus and he would give that surplus back to taxpayers. Who honestly believes a Republican will put money into pockets of the general family population? If they would, they would have done so by now. And Abrams probably envisions expanding institutionalization of families via the educational system.
Another option is to ensure families have the money in their pockets to permit a 1-payer household, in order that families have the time and energy to function as a family rather than a widget in the works of capitalism. Our educational systems can be enhanced if teachers can teach and aren’t babysitters. Censorship of books seems to eliminate a forum for serious discussion between parents and their children. One can’t imagine avoiding this opportunity to talk to children about topics that would otherwise be lost.
I know little to nothing about raising children and I know everything about paying for an educational system that appears to have failed.
After spending a lifetime of paying school taxes, it is irksome to hear said educated kids consider yanking the earned benefits of retirees. When politicians support yanking earned benefits from retirees, it is as underhanded as is the Democratic campaign refrain to vote for Democrats in order to codify Roe v Wade, when Democrats didn’t when they could.
Inability to connect dots may be a part of hierarchical Establishment educational inculcation into a system of compliance and servitude.

From www.hawkinsmattera.org — Despite efforts by the New York State Democratic Party and their functionaries to silence us, we have broken through to the media with this campaign’s message of Inclusive Democracy, a Green New Deal, and an Economic Bill of Rights. We ask that you share this important news coverage to your community, families and allies:
- Capital Tonight Video: Green Party wages daunting write-in campaign to win back ballot access in New York
- Albany Times Union Op-Ed: Kathy Hochul, Lee Zeldin and nobody else
“Walk into any supermarket and you’ll find a variety of breakfast cereals to match nearly any taste. Shop online and you can select, say, shoes to meet your idiosyncratic preferences.
This is what we’ve come to expect in this age of choice. Almost everywhere there are alternatives to the same-old boring whatever. Nearly everywhere, we have options to satisfy every niche, variety that feels infinite and empowering.
Everywhere, except at the ballot box…” - The New York Times: For First Time Since 1946, New Yorkers Have Just 2 Choices for Governor
“…this year, for the first time in over 75 years, the state ballot appears destined to offer only two choices: Gov. Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, and Representative Lee Zeldin, a Republican.
The paucity of options is largely due to former Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, who championed changes in election law two years ago that made it far more difficult for third parties to get on the ballot. The changes to ballot access law tripled the number of voter signatures required for groups to get on the November ballot and forced political parties to qualify every two years instead of four.” - Focus on Albany Video: A conversation with Howie Hawkins about the campaign for Governor
The Times nails the issue: Cuomo, Hochul, and their Legislature Lackeys have brought democracy in New York to a 75-year low. And the bar was already disgracefully low.
But we can beat this and make our elections more fair and equitable than ever — with your help. We ask that you donate to this campaign today so we can continue fighting through Election Day.
And, speaking of Election Day, we ask that you take a moment to look at how you will need to write in our names for Governor and Lt. Governor, and to share this information with voters:
