It’s Complicated

Too complicated to leave in the hands of the Democratic/Republican duopoly with an overarching policy of crony capitalism.
How may a broken system be challenged?
https://popularresistance.org/what-a-peaceful-build-up-that-evades-ecological-breakdown-would-look-like/ –The financial crisis of 2008 led part of the world’s population to question capitalist economics, as was demonstrated by the Occupy movement. And environmental awareness and activism has grown considerably in the last few years, especially after Greta Thunberg managed to mobilize school children and speak at a few key conferences. Gradually, people start to understand that unlimited growth, on which capitalist economics are built, is not possible. Additionally, the coronavirus crisis could contribute to the realization that we’re on the brink of an economic and ecological collapse, and that changes have to be made.

https://popularresistance.org/green-mountain-spinnery-flat-iron-cooperative/ –Green Mountain Spinnery is a 40 year old cooperative based in rural Vermont. They mill high quality yarns made in the U.S., support regional sheep farming, and develop ways of producing natural fibers that are environmentally friendly. Flat Iron Cafe is a cooperatively owned coffee shop based in Vermont. They are still in the developmental stages but intend to create a model that integrates coffee, community driven events, and supports local food entrepreneurs within the space.–end of popularresistance info–
A thought comes to mind that a reason rural communities are disregarded by the Democratic Party is the spirit of independence and self-sufficiency that is an imperative when you live in the middle of nowhere, so to speak. And so the only Party left is the Republican, because censorship has silenced the ability to access 3rd-Party ideas.
One suspects many rural citizens may prefer to be left in peace by politicians and bureaucrats but that doesn’t translate into accepting disrespect.
C-Span offered a breath of fresh air this morning by hosting a 3rd-Party proponent—- https://www.c-span.org/video/?515079-5/washington-journal-andrew-yang-discusses-book-forward — OCTOBER 6, 2021 | PART OF WASHINGTON JOURNAL 10/06/2021

Andrew Yang on His New Book, Forward
Andrew Yang, a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, talked about his new book, Forward: Notes on the Future of Our Democracy.–end of c-span info–
The best hope for democracy and protecting principles of the US Constitution is to recognize and reject the dictatorship of the Democratic/Republican duopoly. Yang repeated the information anyone with the ability to think knows. Our system is not a 2-Party system, as indoctrination h prescribed. Political Parties have little to no standing under the US Constitution, but voters do have standing. We should act accordingly.
Political violence can be institutionalized by custom no less than it can be physical. When political violence leads to economic violence, it is time to leave.
It’s complicated—-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfxnKgCN3OY –CNN’s Don Lemon has told his viewers that it’s time to shun and leave behind those who refuse to get vaccinated.
A pay-to-play health industry system may be a reason for skeptical Americans. If the government requires a trustful public, the government should function in a trustworthy way.https://www.postandcourier.com/health/clyburn-has-taken-more-than-1-million-in-pharma-money-in-a-decade-far-surpassing/article_62b10180-d956-11e8-9122-4f50316f66fa.html
Along with listening to what politicians say, consider who paid them to say it.
