Climate Change Harms Everyone
When capitalistic hierarchical Establishment tell We The People they can’t address Climate Change because “why should America do this for the world”, show them this–

With deep skepticism about Endicott, NY politicians and bureaucrats, one is uplifted with information that Donna Lupardo understands the benefits of care and FACTS as pertains to the noburnbroome concerns over the Endicott battery incinerator project—https://noburnbroome.com/press-release-lupardo-joins-environmental-groups-in-calling-for-eis-on-battery-recycler/–Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo said: “The September, 2018 announcement about SMCC was well received, as the goal was to create an “industry cluster” with world class battery  research and manufacturing interests present in the area. But with time, a number of critical concerns have been raised by Endicott residents and local environmental groups who have contacted my office. After doing months of homework, and consulting with industry experts, I am convinced that a more detailed environmental review is needed by the DEC, especially now that the project permit is on hold.”–end of press release info–
Three-men-in-a-room legislation has given us ostensible dictatorship and surely replaced with capitalistic hierarchical Establishment, any idea of a democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  We The People must demand governance of, by and for The People—https://secure.foodandwateraction.org/act/oppose-clean-economy-jobs-and-innovation-act–PETITION—This proposed bill would unleash new sources of methane (a powerful greenhouse gas) from our ocean floors, promote nuclear power as a ‘climate solution’ and increase oil production. And it tries to greenwash half-baked carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technology, the latest fake climate solution peddled by fossil fuel corporations. We can’t waste time with weak climate legislation. We need bold, aggressive legislation that will truly combat the climate crisis. Tell your representative to oppose the Clean Economy Jobs and Innovation Act (HR 4447).

Consider another perspective of the Green New Deal—https://secure.foodandwateraction.org/act/oppose-clean-economy-jobs-and-innovation-act–Starting out as a set of aspirational policy objectives, the Green New Deal has rapidly gained traction among policymakers, change agents and the public. It draws its inspiration from the New Deal (1933-1942), which offers a compelling model for tackling the challenges ahead.
Our distinguished speakers will lead a discussion about the economic, environmental, social, and political changes that many of us want to see and be part of.

C-Span hosts diverse views.  This is appreciated, because open conversation on topics is desirable.  On 9/23/2020 at about 9:23AM Al Green rose to speak of the death of Breonna Taylor.  This death is beyond a tragedy and seems more nearly a politically-motivated state assassination.  But then perhaps that is the perspective of one with Eastern European ancestors.
It has been only within the last 6 months that, curiously enough, an acquaintance who is a retired NYC policeman, out for a Sunday drive in rural Upstate NY, happened by our house, saw my husband in the yard, and stopped to chat.  For whatever the reason the conversation turned to politics.  One can’t help but imagine, because he turned the conversation onto his Christian faith, that he may have had salvation on his mind, for 2 people out in the woods.
Unbidden by either husband or self, he shared with us his stint in Russia proselytizing to the citizenry.  For whatever reason, he mentioned the state police who he said “take citizens out into the street and shoot them dead”.  One felt compelled to mention the same has been known to happen in the USA.  He said he would never have allowed this to happen in NYC if he was around.  This may be the FACT, but another FACT is the death of citizens by police, in the USA.
Certainly this isn’t the motivation of all police; but the instances have been too many to ignore questions about training.  What in the USA could be called racially-motivated police killings, in Russia may be called political assassinations.  Fear and intimidation under authoritarianism often leads to political actions of violence.
Both Russia and the USA pretend to types of democracy; in Russia the hierarchy stands on foundations of communism, in the USA hierarchy stands on foundations of capitalism.  Establishment hierarchy is incompatible with our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.
The USA from the beginning pretended to a democratic (small d) Constitutional republic, but has functioned as the capitalism against which was fought The Revolutionary War.  Patriarchy has been an anomaly used to justify actions that do not mirror values of a democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.
Patriarchy uses physiognomy to divide and conquer for political success.  This Democratic Primary season has been rife with divisive campaign strategy rhetoric in the form of misogyny….especially applied toward white women.  This is not imagination.  One only needs to watch the many forms broadcast from Team Blue cable channel news Shows, not currently generally, but over the last several months.
From the Republican strategists we hear of suburban housewives, from the Democratic strategists have been implication of the pedestal upon which women….especially white women…….stand.  Both are insulting.  Must we continue to take stereotypes from either of Father Knows Best or Gone With The Wind, and run with those bigoted presumptions?  Soft bigotry or not, it’s still bigotry.
White Supremacy is a threat to our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  In a less racially divided nation, the violence from this quarter would be called political.  In our capitalistic hierarchical Establishment of all hues, misogyny has been a tool of patriarchy to maintain dominance in their presumption of capitalism rather than action in principles of a democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.
Domestic violence is a significant matter of violence against women, as if the non-domestic violence against women wasn’t enough.
This topic is raised because Al Green, in his denunciation of the politically-motivated death of Breonna Taylor, felt it necessary to specify that a white woman wouldn’t have been so abused.  This feels like another attempt by patriarchy, perhaps against the backdrop of religious presumption, to force women, once again, into the function of enabler to male aggression.
Women have indeed traditionally been compelled to carry the burden of men.  Women don’t need to do this, but tradition is difficult to overcome.  Women’s liberation was a step toward autonomy for women.
Any presumption that white women are more protected and safe is absurd.  Domestic violence may be unknown in black communities, but in white communities it is common.  Law enforcement traditionally have looked the other way, keeping their hands clean in these instances.
One’s personal witness to this FACT is based on a particularly violent domestic violence incident in 1970 in NYS, in which the State Police were called, told to arrest the perpetrator, but informed the wife that “it’s his house and he can do with it what he wants”.  In fact he was no longer living there, and broke down the door in the middle of the night to get in.
These incidents do not make it into news reports, and so the under informed on this topic continue to stereotype about white women.  This is similar to the gentleman who is a retired NYC policeman, who proselytized in Russia, and espouses his own stereotype about that nation.  It may be true, but not dissimilar to political violence in the USA.
And by the way, until the USA addresses our own problems without shifting blame to foreign nations, we’re just running a Reality Show.
One sees as the actual perpetrator in all of these nations, to be those carrying the traits of greed, privilege, and predatory behavior.  One understands that to challenge these characters directly is frightening, both due to personal intimidation and economic exposure.
But the time must be past, when women are charged with the duty of controlling violence from men, and are abused as enablers in order to deflect responsibility onto women instead of confronting patriarchy.  With all due respect, this is the reason, to avoid the Hillary-Clinton-despised notion of insinuation, that one calls out those demanding that women….especially white women…..continue to enable White Supremacy, to remember this is very dangerous for women.
Political violence needs to be named and called out.  That this violence is supported by our capitalistic hierarchical Establishment who bestows wealth upon whomever it will, does complicate things.  One understands the fear.
A non-confrontational action from those who won’t directly challenge White Supremacy, especially members of Congress, may be to pass laws about law enforcement training.  Also, when a murder of a citizen happens by law enforcement, that victims seems to be subjected to investigation as to whether she/he was “on drugs”.  Would it make as much sense to immediately so test the murderer as to the same question?
https://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=3745740&page=1#:~:text=Gene%20Sanders%2C%20a%20Spokane%2C%20Wash,steroids%20%E2%80%94%20many%20of%20them%20defensively.–
“The body feels really comfortable and likes [the hormones],” said Sanders. “You feel better, feel more buff and feel more able to take on the bad people.”Indeed, Matthew felt the positive effects of steroids after only three months’ use. His weight jumped from 170 pounds to 192 pounds, and he was able to bench-press 300 pounds from 225 pounds.–end of abcnews info–
To address drugs in law enforcement, would be a quick fix, but not as quick as blaming other women.  In FACT, the USA is an anomaly of violence, whether within our borders, or in foreign relations.  None of this is admirable.
Another matter of interest is Climate Change, that so far the Democratic/Republican duopoly have failed to address, or even acknowledge seriously.  This has happened due to censorship of political Parties such as the Green Party and Howie Hawkins, who have as a primary focus, the life and liberty of We The People, and principles of our Constitutional republic.  The Republican/Democratic duopoly has customized a corporate political Party process of censoring 3rd-Parties such as the Green Party, that is not funded by corporate campaign donors through big-money interests due to Citizens United.
The Democratic/Republican duopoly controls debates via www.debates.org, that censors 3rd-Party candidates in debates.
So grassroots organizations consisting of We The People, are working to challenge Climate Change—-PETITION—-Sign if you wish—-https://www.dncclimate.org/first-debate-petition?link_id=1&can_id=193d62b237484a25dee2367907a4dd04&source=email-climate-is-on-the-ballot-2&email_referrer=email_932592&email_subject=demand-climate-questions-on-the-presidential-debate-stage-sign-the-petition–Our next president must take bold action to fight the climate crisis. Only one candidate has made that commitment. Donald Trump is a climate denier, a climate disaster, and by far the worse president in modern history when it comes to the environment. Joe Biden has put tackling the climate crisis at the forefront of his campaign and has committed to creating millions of good-paying union jobs in the green economy while centering environmental justice.
–end of dncclimate info—————Joe Biden is a light weight on Climate Change, as is Trump.  Stop the censorship of serious Presidential candidates who have policies to deal with Climate Change.
Indoctrination is us—-https://www.nationofchange.org/2020/09/22/america-land-of-lemmings/–We all know that calling people lemmings is not high praise, but what exactly is a lemming? The online urban dictionary offers various definitions. Here are the top three in reverse order:#3
1. A small rat like creature. If one lemming jumps off a cliff all of the lemmings will jump off with it.
2. A person that follows another person and does everything the same as the person the are following.
#2
A derogatory term used to reference a person who seemingly does not possess any form of individual thought, and instead, mindlessly follows the behaviors and actions of the masses. –end of nationofchange info———–Voter lemmings vote into public office lemming Representatives.
It was the last Democratic Presidential Administration that undermined retirees by changing the COLA on Social Security from compound to simple, dramatically decreasing benefits for workers ho paid into the system for 20, 30, 40 or 50 years—–Demand questions relevant to We The People—-http://action.aarp.org/site/MessageViewer?em_id=105016.1&dlv_id=140894&pgwrap=n–Thanks to the strong outcry from AARP advocates just like you, at their August conventions, both President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden vowed to protect Social Security.
–end of aarp info–This is a simple matter of lawmakers working for governance of, by and for The People, or fore wealthy campaign donors via Citizens United.
Also, demand a stop to censorship of 3rd-Party Presidential Candidates such as Howie Hawkins of the Green Party; who in fact has a better sense of governance than either of Trump or Biden.
Congress has paid too much attention to their big-money donor requirements and too little attention to governance that is of, by and for The People.  Climate Change numbers as only one topic about which they have been negligent in action, if not criminally so—-https://countercurrents.org/2020/09/the-dying-planet-report-2020/—-According to the report: “Until 1970, humanity’s Ecological Footprint was smaller than the Earth’s rate of regeneration. To feed and fuel our 21st century, we are overusing the Earth’s biocapacity by at least 56%.” (Report, page 6) Meaning, we’ve gone from equilibrium to a huge deficit of 50% in less than 50 years. Putting it mildly, that’s terrifying! As stated in the Report, we’re effectively using and abusing and trampling the equivalence of one and one-half planets. How long does that last? The experience of the past 46 years provides an answer, which is: Not much longer.—-end of countercurrents info–
Before holding responsible women for the ills of the nation, consider the Representatives in Congress who make the laws as suggested through www.alec.com, where the big-money interest campaign donors interact with lawmakers—-https://lithub.com/privatizing-the-common-good-the-21st-century-enclosures-are-here/–Enclosure thus refers to a global process of violent extraction. But the key thing is that enclosure did not cease once common lands in Britain had all been opened up and capitalism had been established as an economic and political system.Resistance to the new enclosures has become a central feature of social struggles over the last few decades.

The above CELDF info is about the laws passed by the Democratic/Republican duopoly, and no other.  Make no mistake as to the identity of those making our laws, which is Congress.
That Trump pretends away Climate Change and the Covid-19 pandemic in words, is a distraction that Congress has done so by laws passed to promote the profiteering of commercial interests that lead to environmental harm that is detrimental to human health—-https://socialistproject.ca/2020/09/california-disaster-link-between-wildfires-and-coronavirus/—These are very challenging times. But the simultaneous occurrence of a healthcare and an environmental crisis, or more precisely, the inability to solve them, is not a coincidence. What they both have in common is the dependence on a technological fix for our social and environmental problems. Or, to put it differently, the unwillingness to question the rationality of our economic system and alter associated ways of living. The dependence on a technological fix, in turn, follows from the priority of maximizing profits rather than satisfying human needs.

Corruption in lawmaking hurts future generations—-https://mailchi.mp/ourchildrenstrust/standing-in-solidarity-1021238?e=b22f370248–On September 24, from 4-5 p.m. PDT / 7-8 p.m. EDT, we’ll be hosting an online briefing with our partners the David Suzuki Foundation and the Pacific Centre for Environmental Law and Litigation (CELL) to discuss our constitutional climate change case La Rose et al v. Her Majesty the Queen. This case was filed by 15 young Canadians from seven provinces and one territory on October 25, 2019. In their complaint, the plaintiffs argue that they are being harmed by climate change and that the federal government is violating their rights to life, liberty, and security of person.  During this event, you’ll have the chance to hear from some of the 15 young plaintiffs, and their attorneys, as they discuss why they decided to join the case, what a victory would look like to them, and much more! You’ll also learn about their upcoming virtual hearing, scheduled for next week on September 30th and October 1st.

In Solidarity—–https://triplejfarmnyc.com/collections/brunch–On Saturday, September 26 from noon to 6pm one of the state’s few Black owned farms, Triple J Farms, will host a grab-and-go brunch at the Bundy Museum of History and Art Annex. Brunch includes a made-to-order specialty omelet, a mimosa or sangria, and a dozen cage-free organic eggs fresh from the farm. French toast is also available. The event also features a live DJ! There will be a few, socially distanced, tables. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at triplejfarmnyc.com (or click here).
Please wear your masks! In the entire state of New York only 139 farms are Black owned, including Triple J Farms. That’s just over 1% of all NYS farms! Triple J Farms is a family owned and operated farm in Windsor, New York. And their eggs are organic and cage free. In their recent featured on NPR’s Morning Edition, the founders and owners of the farm, the Mintons, had a simple ask: #MakeFarmersBlackAgain. One way the Mintons are sharing their story–and their eggs–is through delicious brunches. Read more of their story at triplejfarmnyc.com.
