ICC AND GAZA AND AMERICA

ICC AND GAZA AND AMERICA

Apparently untouched by the politics of the D&R Duopoly, the ICC has issued arrest warrants for each of leaders of Hamas and the Israeli government, both of which seem responsible for the deaths and war in Gaza.  One believes the motivation is greed and power on the part of said leaders.

https://www.aol.com/news/icc-prosecutor-seeks-arrest-warrants-112936652.html–The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has applied for arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas’s leader in Gaza for war crimes.

In the USA, it would seem criminality is irrelevant when profit is involved.

Jared Kushner says Gaza’s ‘waterfront property could be very valuable’

Jared Kushner has praised the “very valuable” potential of Gaza’s “waterfront property” and suggested Israel should remove civilians while it “cleans up” the strip.

The former property dealer, married to Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka, made the comments in an interview at Harvard University on 15 February. The interview was posted on the YouTube channel of the Middle East Initiative, a program of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, earlier this month.

This is similar to the fracking industry onslaught against the humanity of NYS as they attempted, about a decade ago, to steamroll our local and peaceful neighborhoods for profit.  The push back from We The People in this oligarchical attempt was hard fought and ignored by MSM.  Oligarchs also control MSM.  The People of NYS are only fortunate not to have experienced the same military action has have the People of Gaza.  But the oligarchical attempts continue.

The lie from Molinaro that Cornell and SUNY B protests against the Israeli-government genocide in Gaza that is real to real people, is anti semitism, is exposed as a lie due to the peaceful character of the anti-war protesters and inclusion of Jewish students among the anti-war protesters.  That Molinaro presumes to enact a law that censors voices of those with political views contrary to his own is decidedly totalitarian.  But it is in keeping with the views of Jared Kushner’s orange father-in-law, and the master of the GOP.

Molinaro speaks out against antisemitism on college campuses–Molinaro announced that he will be voting in favor of the bipartisan Antisemitism Awareness Act which ensures federal anti-discrimination laws are being enforced. He also spoke out against the antisemitic demonstrations that have swept college campuses across the United States, including at Cornell University and Binghamton University which are located in New York’s 19th Congressional District.

This seemed to be a relevant discussion on C-Span this morning about poverty in the USA.  One believes it is important to remember that incredible wealth among a few is not possible without poverty for the majority of humanity.  This is capitalism.

One of the last callers reminded that the other side of the coin of so-called entitlement payments to those in poverty is the legislated financial handouts to corporate and big-money interests.  This is seldom mentioned in the same breath and they are inextricably connected.

Free Enterprise has nothing to do with corporations and in FACT the Founders didn’t sanction corporate privilege and protection.  This is a step-by-step corporate takeover of We The People, who are not one and the same.  This legislated and judicial enhancement that has given power to big-money interests seems especially buoyed by the corruption of money in politics of Citizens United.  Citizens United is an illegitimate legalization of buying unprincipled lawmakers.

Indoctrination of We The People has soothed Americans into somnolence on the topic of actual human rights as opposed to illegitimately legislated corporate privilege that is about capitalism, and surely not about democracy.

If democracy is not to be compared to our U. S. Constitutional Republic, neither should be capitalism.  They are both irrelevant as pertains to human and natural rights.  The Founders, for those who haven’t read history, were predominantly interested in ensuring natural rights, if anyone cares.

https://scholarlycommons.law.wlu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=3506&context=wlulr#:~:text=The%20philosophy%20of%20natural%20rights–

The philosophy of natural rights was championed by such Founding Fathers as Richard Bland, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Richard Henry Lee, James Madison, George Mason, Robert Carter Nicholas, Peyton Randolph, George Washington, and George Wythe. Indeed, it would be amazing if any Revolutionary leader of the Commonwealth could be found who did not subscribe to the doctrines of natural law and right. Moreover, the doctrine was not limited to the select few who directed Virginia’s destinies, but was widely held and continually expressed by the popular assemblages throughout the Commonwealth during Revolutionary days.

In contrast President Adams issued mandates that anyone criticizing him could be prosecuted….hmmm….similar to NYS Rep. Molinaro.

While we are talking about free thought, voters can choose from other than the R&D Duopoly for all of local Representatives and the Presidency.

And how’s about that cut-up Kushner and with support from Daddy-in-law Trump?

Ranking Member Raskin Probes Donald Trump’s Offer to Change U.S. Energy Policy in Exchange for $1 Billion in Campaign Cash from Big Oil

Washington, D.C. (May 14, 2024)—Rep. Jamie Raskin, Ranking Member of the Committee on Oversight and Accountability, is demanding answers from nine Big Oil CEOs following reports of quid pro quo propositions made by former President Donald Trump to dismantle fossil fuel regulations in exchange for $1 billion in contributions to his presidential campaign.

“I write to request any information you may have about quid pro quo financial agreements related to U.S. energy policy that were reportedly proposed at a recent campaign fundraising dinner with ex-President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago Club that you appear to have attended.  Media reports raise significant potential ethical, campaign finance, and legal issues that would flow from the effective sale of American energy and regulatory policy to commercial interests in return for large campaign contributions,” wrote Ranking Member Raskin in the letters.

And so the rubber hits the road about “running government like a business” .  Capitalist sycophants must be proud.  “Spreading Western Values” that is the origin of the Hamas/Israel War comes violently to the USA.

And they want to “crack down” on anti-war protesters…..you go Molinaro.

We need more women in positions of political nurturing. Men can be too emotional. https://x.com/HumanityChad/status/1791852941256818988/photo/1
