The glib action to “run government like a business” eventually moves into organized crime. Both the US government and foreign relations seem to have met this impasse.
“Western values” often seem to imply attaining Paradise on a cash staircase. Snake oil salesmen are best at selling this bait-and-switch.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to support a government run by political Parties, but that is what we have. Politicians are loyal to political Parties rather than to We The People after they have taken their Oaths of Office. This is a seriously negligent mode of governance that goes unaddressed.
Within this odd interpretation of the US Constitution, about which I know little, we have also embraced imperialism while ignoring the health and welfare of Americans.
Taking this a step farther, the politicians and bureaucrats involved in these “Western values”, have presumed to “run government like a business” by working within networks of global oligarchs that run a business model of using humanity as a human resource and the environment as a natural resource.
This has increased global warming and Climate Change harm to humanity and Mother Earth.
Yet we continue to see as the best among us, those perpetrating and profiting from this system. And profit they do for a certain length of time. Eventually as in now, even global oligarchs find that their hubris-bedazzled system of conflict of interest spins out of control into war.
While profiteering they forget they are also, as they say, poking the bear. This has never worked.

The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.
