A personal view is as follows…..(referring to the C-Span caller who avoid feminism due to “white women” association with it)…Over the years and currently the majority of African American women I know have owned the substance and spirit of feminism while avoiding self-identifying, probably due to the “white woman” thing. FACTually I can think of only one African American woman who has clung to a type of persona that can be described as “lady of the manor”. It seems to have served her no better than for must people.

Many people seem to confuse the Ms. feminism with Cosmopolitan Mag. The 2 have different paths. To inform oneself can dispell confusion.
Ms. Mag is heavily dedicated to diversity including race and gender identification. It is in fact what one person will suggest is a human-rights perspective.
As seriously captured as are some people by the Democratic Party, seem the same are captured by confusion about feminism.
White women surely took advantage of the spirit of feminism, and walked through the door that was opened, without closing the door afterward. Walk through, all are welcome.
Capitalism was sold as providing the best opportunity for enhancing lifestyle for the most people, and has proved incorrect.

One includes the pro-Ukraine-War discussion with Howie Hawkins while being totally opposed to the US Proxy War with Russia behind the smokescreen of “spreading Western values”. My view is based on the idea that “Western values” as ‘splained to Americans by capitalistic hierarchical Establishment has been so thorough and wrong-headed as to be dangerous to human and natural rights. So why do we think Ukrainian “activists” are any more informed about “Western values” and the acceptance of a system that hasn’t lived up to its advertising. However Howie Hawkins in other areas has been logical and informative, so I include his discussion that I personally find to be curiously wrong. In this discussion the guest seems to pivot to talking about transforming the world away from fossil fuels, which I am for, but Ms. Romanko says “only after winning the war with Russia”. The USA has no reason to run a Proxy War with Russia under these strained mixes of reasons. We need first to get our own house in order.

Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate. Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary. This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People. Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
