DEATH SENTENCE: Biden Blasted for RAMMING Dangerous Mountain Valley Pipeline Into Debt Ceiling Deal

–end of statuscoup info–

NYS anti-fracking advocates are quite aware of the sales team inflicted upon communities to entice local-community devastation for cash.  Pre-fracking contracts in NYS were followed by local boys riding around in huge new pick-up trucks with giant wheels, stretch limousines gliding through local grocery store parking lots, and invitations from industry sales teams inviting local landowners to elegant conferences in local hotels with white table clothes and sparkling crystal, and said locals dressed in t-shirts and shit kickers, colloquially speaking.

Not to be left behind, local bureaucrats, politicians, college-industry “experts”, local lawyers, and industry salesmen hosted local-media “news conferences” to ‘splain to the locals the reason industrial takeover would be good for us.  Why these weren’t investigated as sales seminars that should have followed guidelines of the SEC is a topic for discussion.

This is the culture foisted onto the people of Virginia.  Actually Appalachia experienced this behavior long before did NYS.

https://www.commondreams.org/news/senate-mountain-valley-pipeline     –But congressional Republicans ensured that preventing an economic catastrophe would come at a significant cost for vulnerable people and communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis—and the Biden White House ultimately acceded to some of the GOP hostage-takers’ demands, declining to use its executive authority to continue paying the nation’s bills.

“These provisions are a win for polluters, and the elected officials in their pocket,” said Alice Madden, policy and political director at Greenpeace USA.

Consider a few personal anecdotes learned during the decade-long fracking advocacy in NYS.

*HO-3 which most people use to protect their home, doesn’t cover industrial-fracking incidents

*A fracking contract on a land of a private-property owner may expose the property owner to liability from other land owners

*Fracking in a region means pipes may extend from contracted personal property onto the property of others

*The roads are used by large trucks that use the infrastructure for which they do not contribute cost for maintenance

*The Broome County attorney at the time appeared to be motivated to mail letters to lawmakers warning against conflict of interest

*This feels indicative of lack of confidence in bureaucratic integrity

*Imagine how We The People feel

*Money can’t “fix anything”

For those who weren’t born pre-Iraq War, Scott Ritter was the weapons inspector who reported that Iraq didn’t possess “weapons of mass destruction”, contrary to the insinuation to the contrary of The military-Industrial Complex and the Executive Branch of the 3-legged stool,   The correct report from Scott Ritter was turned into a joke by MSM, as they “thought so you don’t have to”, that Iraq was somehow implicated in 9/11 ad had WMD’s  and also responded to the caution exhibited by France on the topic, by relabeling french fries as Freedom fries.  It’s gone downhill from there.

So now “the enemy” is Russia, and Scott Ritter is still attempting logical reporting.https://www.rt.com/russia/577345-russophobia-reality-us-ritter/       –While the official purpose of the visit was business (I was promoting my book, Disarmament Race, which has been published in the Russian language by the Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house), the unofficial – and for me, most important – purpose of the visit was an opportunity to better understand today’s Russia. To do this, I was going to dig deeper into Russian history, get a better grasp of the culture, and, in the process, try to understand the “Russian soul” in as precise a manner as possible.

Globalization has been based upon finances, not, for example, human and natural rights.  The players and profiteers are oligarchs.  The military is used to “protect US interests overseas”….AKA oligarchical rights… liability and risk are placed upon the shoulders of local-community people, including Americans.  Russian oligarchs, Ukrainian oligarchs, and American oligarchs are all implicated.  —

https://www.rt.com/russia/577284-black-sea-tango-grain-deal/?utm_source=browser&utm_medium=push_notifications&utm_campaign=push_notifications  –The conflict in Ukraine has demonstrated just how fragile globalization can be. As a result of a conflict in Eastern Europe, many external economies have slid into recession, politicians have allocated huge funds from national budgets for aid, global trade has been undermined, and billions of people have been put at risk of having their normal lives disrupted.

Establishment claims that democracy and “Western values” are the end-goal in foreign conflicts, seems laughable.  ****

As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-

This is a reminder of how much we don’t know.  This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought.  We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate.  Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United.  But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy.  Who knew?
The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbdkuU1edw          —#GreenSocialist Notes #76
Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ7kn2-GEmM       —

Ross Perot in 1992 on NAFTA and the “Giant Sucking Sound”

Centralization is the lifeblood of the R&D duopoly.  It’s the way to enforce capitalism onto workers in 2022.———————–We can do better———-

That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
