The lazy backwater of the Southern Tier of NYS which is nonetheless a hotbed of citizen responsibility, was recently faced with a Cop-City-similar attempt by law enforcement to occupy forest land among a local community.   The purpose was to establish a law-enforcement shoot range.   Only authoritarianism would consider this a logical choice for such an obviously aggressive function.  The Southern Tier of NYS has its share of authoritarian wannabees.  The Glen Aubrey town board used integrity in denying the permit.  Atlanta seems not so fortunate.  And by the way, it was only several years ago that a law enforcement character in the Southern Tier threatened a local responsible citizen with the label of “domestic terrorist” for using the phrase “bomb truck”.  Give them an inch…….

Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
