Senator Boozman, R-AK, reminded of the level of benefits offered by SNAP, which is a food program, and is defined by this lawmaker as an entitlement.  Some people could define the benefits that are self-secured by lawmakers to themselves and last a lifetime, even after “service” is over, as an entitlement program.

Realistically we might address the system called capitalism that has given us a system of hierarchy and stock market participation over local-community workforce and life.  

Some lawmakers spoke of SNAP benefits that go to “able-bodied men who can work but don’t”.  A few thoughts—

*One is old enough to remember the welfare-to-work program that Reagan dismantled that precisely trained a trade for “able-bodied men”  while providing financial support until the men were capable of self-reliance.  The reason to have dismantled this beneficial program seems to have coincided with the currently-debunked “Trickle-Down Theory” upon which Reagan sycophants are enamored.  Perhaps Reagan was wrong and harmful to our nation.

*Corruption in government supported by Citizens United has given us a rigged economy of predatory behavior by those so inclined.  Those who are not so inclined are labeled as using entitlement programs

*A following link will describe a new rush from the USA of those who have secured wealth on a personal basis, ostensibly due to discontent among the public that is leading to violence and crime.  What else would be imagined as the result of capitalism on a continuum that becomes organized crime?

*Apparently “the wealthy” are searching for locations that serve organized crime rather than the crime of the riff raff

*A militarized law enforcement is required at this juncture of social unraveling and governmental rigging

*As to “able-bodied men” who are using SNAP benefits rather than using self-reliance, perhaps the predatory emphasis on children becoming indebted for college costs to secure “degrees from institutions of higher learning” that are said to be the key to success, is a lie when a better path for local-community members would be education for a trade that is lucrative but doesn’t further the interests of “institutions of higher learning” or the financial-debt industry….AKA big-money campaign donors…..

C-Span–caller–9:05AM–paraphrase–Social Security isn’t “earned”, it is an entitlement.  (Labels are interesting and can be used in place of logical and FACTual understanding.  Having worked in the financial industry one was exposed to courses such as LUTC, CLU, ChFC, and mandatory annual industry-required courses to maintain currency of relevance of knowledge.  In every course ever taken, Social Security was defined as an “earned benefit” for which workers paid over a lifetime of employment.  Suddenly one learns Social Security is an entitlement.  This is the magic of propaganda that can turn on a pin.  Or to use the jargon of the financial industry, a ubiquitous bait-and-switch was perpetrated upon the American worker.  This isn’t surprising when one considers the bait-and-switch of calling democracy capitalism, and switching to predatory behavior in pursuit of each dollar, coincided with said changes in definition.  Over a continuum capitalism manifests as organized crime.)
