COMPLIANCE TO A RIGGED SYSTEM REQUIRED

One listened to portions of the US Conference of Mayors discussion as aired on C-Span

U.S. Conference of Mayors Winter Meeting, Opening News Conference

The U.S. Conference of Mayors held a new conference at the start of the organization’s annual winter meeting in Washington, D.C. Miami Mayor Francis Suarez (R), the president of the conference; Los Angeles Mayor and U.S. Ambassador to India nominee Eric Garcetti (D); Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D); Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner (D); and Columbus, Ohio, Mayor Andrew Ginther (D) took questions on voting rights, infrastructure, and working with the Biden administration.

The previous day which was 1/20 C-Span included a call-in discussion on the topic of the quality of health care in the USA.  A large portion of the callers expressed views about deteriorating quality and outcome from our pay-to-play health delivery system. This seems to play a role in opinions about the quality of life in 2023.

The discussion among mayors also raised topics that seemed to imply quality of life.

An institutionalized religious group suggested partnering with mayors to infiltrate neighborhoods to spread values compatible to the goals put forth in this conference.  This raises a question about the reason, considering ubiquitous insinuation of institutionalized religion into lives of Americans up to this point, that influence regarded as superior haven’t, so far, taken root in local communities.  Why would state sanctioned religious insinuation make it better?

The topic at that moment was about violence in local neighborhoods.  A mayor brought up his view that the same vehemence of protest when a young black man shot another young black man was raised within the local community, to the extent that happens when law enforcement shoots a young black man.  He mentioned a culture of reluctance to so-called snitch.  In FACT he mentioned that many of the mama’s who sat in churches on Sunday, had inside information about said shooting.  Personally one knows nothing about this.  But again the presumption that institutions are the answer feels questionable.

Someone mentioned that the underlying reality of poverty was a problem, and that a jobs program could be the answer.

A personal concern is the obvious rigging of the economic system called capitalism in which hierarchy manipulates the entirety to her/his advantage while exploiting workers and destroying the environment, using each as a human resource or a natural resource.  One believes that an intuitive recognition of this reality by inner-city youth must be assumed.  So jobs programs that funnel humanity into a pre-rigged system could be called into question.

One juxtaposes this Establishment-approved Conference of Mayors against a conversation heard recently from Lee Camp.  Please take the time to compare—-

The point is that a group of people attempting freedom, liberty, and self determination has been smothered by Establishment while Establishment characters from positions of power attempt to wrestle local-community members into behavioral compliance that meets the end of Establishment.  This is surely a topic for discussion.

Independent investigation of the police shooting of an environmentalist in Atlanta this week, seems only logical and indicative of justice.

These instances of police-state tactics in conjunction with Establishment presumption of engineering social norms must be addressed.  Going back to the Conference of Mayors, the notion of early childhood education that “releases parents to go to work”, could be a source of our problems with American children.  Is the best model for the economic requirement for both parents returning to work as soon as possible after a birth, really the best?

Is this a deflection away from family values that would best support the health of children with 2 parents able to make their own decisions about early-years childhood development.  Parents who aren’t under the gun economically and able to decide their own schedules and that of their children seems to be a viable topic for discussion.

We need to be capable of speaking of a rigged economic and political system before making decisions about fixing the locals into compliance to said system.

****As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-

This is a reminder of how much we don’t know.  This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought.  We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate.  Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United.  But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy.  Who knew?

Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ7kn2-GEmM       —

Centralization is the lifeblood of the R&D duopoly.  It’s the way to enforce capitalism onto workers in 2022.———————–We can do better———-

That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
