DEMOCRAT EST AND KAREN

Political Parties have taken over politics, but only in the form of Democratic and Republican.  Since this takeover after Ross Perot scared these 2 political Parties, the rhetoric from each has become evermore curious and nonsensical.  Policy has been replaced by personality and this harms We The People.

Rose-colored glasses to watch the Democratic Establishment seems to be a fools game, wouldn’t one say?–https://moguldom.com/376202/is-dnc-chair-jaime-harrison-the-swamps-man-in-dc-new-corporate-lobbyists-join-dnc/?utm_source=moengage&utm_medium=push&utm_campaign=subscribed         –Harrison’s picks for new at-large DNC members include corporate lobbyists, consultants, executives, and partners at firms that represent the fossil fuel industry, pharmaceutical companies, electric utilities and defense contractors, as well as senior employees with Facebook, Pepsi, and Softbank, Sludge reported. What is one to make of this cabal of “old-school” politicians?  The ease with which they handled Democratic wokesters is obvious.  So now that they have gained leadership, perhaps they should lead.
The overriding FACT that the Democratic branch of the duopoly can’t lead doesn’t diminish the FACT that neither can the Republican branch that is under the thumb of Trump, who is a flaming capitalist who will “run government like a business”.  To move away from the D&R duopoly dance, we are run by the US Capitalist Party in contrast to the China Communist Party, both of which are dedicated to the transfer of the wealth of nations from the 100% to the 1%.
Capitalism and communism are opposite sides of the same coin of dictatorship.
The D & R branches are opposite sides of the same coin of duplicity—-https://theintercept.com/2021/10/10/ivanka-trump-steven-mnuchin-world-bank/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=The%20Intercept%20Newsletter        –But two sources, not authorized to speak publicly, tell The Intercept the talk of Ivanka at the helm went far beyond the realm of Beltway chatter: Trump very much wanted Ivanka as World Bank president, and it was Mnuchin who actually blocked her ascent to the leadership role.“It came incredibly close to happening,” said one well-placed source.–end of theintercept info–

Received from Andrew Yang.  —  https://www.andrewyang.com/blog    –During the six years I spent running Venture for America, my job involved speaking regularly about the mission of the organization — in our case training entrepreneurs and creating jobs in communities around the country. Over time, I became aware that the economy was transforming in fundamental ways that would displace millions of workers, requiring larger changes to society than my nonprofit could address. Our nation’s $22 trillion economy was turning against people, and there’s no nonprofit on earth that operates at that level; the largest nonprofit in the United States has a budget of less than one-hundredth of $1 trillion.

The seemed inability of Democratic or Republican voters in too many instances seem to be enthrallment with their political Party of choice that doesn’t permit for thinking.  As one who is not on board with all of the policies of Andrew Yang, neither does one feel the need to be.  Yang has ideas and independence.  This reflects a new type of politician as was the case for Bernie Sanders.  The dull, stale, and self-serving predominance of influence by the Republican-Democratic duopoly is maintained by dirty tricks and obfuscation.  We can do better.
Principles of the US Constitution don’t seem to support hierarchical presumption of power and greed.  Capitalism seem to have as components power, greed and hierarchy.  https://mailchi.mp/fd73b801a2f8/how-bad-road-design-breaks-local-economies?e=fa2c3ddca6      —

How to Fight Back Against Dollar Chains

The Southern Tier of NYS houses interstate highways that have cut up long-standing neighborhoods, support pollution, and facilitate crime.  Meanwhile chain stores have undermined any notion of free markets for local proprietors.  Many of our local politicians continue to pretend this form of progress is good for the public, with a straight face.
We could define progress in terms of good health, peace, and equality instead of progress as defined in terms of exploitation, greed, and privilege.
Voters need to cast ballots accordingly, and then hold their political choice to account.

The first time I heard the insinuation about so-labeled “Karens” was after the incident in NYC where a young woman instigated a confrontation with a black youth.  Rev. Al in a political frenzy of the time from Democratic strategists using misogyny to herd voters into the comfortable Democratic camp, used the name of Soho Karen to describe the young woman, possibly due to the white-sounding name.  I wouldn’t, however, call this by an ism.  Unfortunately the young woman needed to loudly proclaim she was not a white woman, as the pile-on continued from Gail King, before anyone had sufficiently investigated skin color of the woman.  (Don’t ask me, said investigation isn’t my forte, as one finds it difficult from time to time telling cartoon characters from real people).
As a ’70’s Feminist, I am in no way put-out about a woman standing up for herself.  However this does seem offensive to patriarchy.  And so we hear women…..especially white women…..who seem to need to apologize for acting in self-interest rather than like a patriarchal pet       —  https://popularresistance.org/when-karens-flourished/         –In 2001, my main task in Nicaragua was to be a “Karen”: the obnoxious, entitled white woman who uses her privilege to get her way. Although I was only 25, I was able to lend my white face, my American accent and my pushy “get-me-your-manager” skills to women’s cooperatives to gain them access to and help them navigate the Nicaraguan bureaucratic system.–end of popularresistance info–

I know nothing about Nicaragua as pertains to Karens.  In the USA Karens along with all other women are losing their right to control their own bodies that seems to comply to patriarchal wet dreams.
Here’s a thought.  Rather than Karen-shaming, how about other women step up to the mark of unladylike autonomy?  Frightening?  Yes!  But consider the dignity…….

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
Along with Climate Change, many people oppose the imperialism of the USA under control of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.  Use of the wealth of our nation should be to enhance quality of life for We The People rather than for imperialism.  Some people vote accordingly.I———————–That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
