As one who thought Kaepernick was a hero before it became a fad, this will happily be retweeted. Is it inappropriate to say the following about this fad?—
*Kaepernick was originally lonely in his campaign, with a few people continuing to mention his heroism, oneself included
*Notice about the Kaepernick campaign became popular when someone, (one believes Trump, but not sure) said this son of a b____h should be addressed by Establishment (paraphrase)
*Suddenly the community caught onto the presumption about the “B” word as suggestive of someone’s mother
*Previously in community, use of the “B” word was cool, presumed from extraordinary use
*Some people pre-fad were offended by use of the “B” word as being misogynistic
*Incidentally the very self-definition as Feminist could be thought of as offensive toward said cool people.
So one proudly continues to support Colin Kaepernick now as one did pre-fad.

A point can be made that such carelessness by the electorate abut conflict of interest is a reason we have a President Joe Biden rather than a President Bernie Sanders, who supports universal health care.
One has noticed and remarked about a dismal youthful compliance to institutionalized Establishment as said individual rage against human and environmental rights from a misguided reliance on safety of corporate-implied safety. The propaganda that it is wise to “run government like a business” seems complete in youngsters. Advertising has been used to cast as trivial or foolish, the legitimacy of both nature and humanity in their own right.

In this capacity, we’re traveling next week to Washington D.C. to support Chairwoman Janet Alkire as she meets with key decision-makers about the ongoing injustice of DAPL.
More on that soon — but for now, we’d like to share our new video with you, made in collaboration with Chairwoman Alkire’s team, the Oceti Ŝakowiŋ, and the Great Plains Tribal Water Alliance. It brings tribal leaders together from all over South Dakota to speak about the necessity to protect Unci Maka (Grandmother Earth) from Big Extraction’s misdeeds, like Dakota Access.
The stakes of our environmental movement remain as high as ever for all humans, plants, and animals. The year 2022 is on track to be one of the hottest on record. To make a difference we must act locally while thinking globally. Local for me means the Dakotas, where Standing Rock’s water supply (and that of 17 million others) is still in jeopardy from an illegal oil pipeline without a permit.
Why is it operating without a permit? Because the company hired by the federal government to do the environmental impact statement (EIS) was among those who joined a lawsuit against Standing Rock early in the NoDAPL movement. Of course, Standing Rock’s leaders won’t accept this, so there is a standoff at the moment with the feds. The Army Corps of Engineers has now postponed the release of their flawed EIS until next year, and that gives the tribe more time to fight back and demand that a decent company conduct a new assessment.
As you’re aware, Big Oil has a stranglehold on American politics. Wind power is the cheapest energy source available today — there’s enough wind in just the Dakotas and Texas to power the entire United States. But instead of shifting aggressively to clean technologies, this nation is allowing the fossil fuel industry to bully us into greater investments in our own destruction. Indigenous voices must remain strong to counteract forces of greed and narrow self-interest that plague our nation and world at this time. We will continue doing what we can, with your support!

This is a reminder of how much we don’t know. This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought. We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate. Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United. But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy. Who knew?

Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate. Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary. This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People. Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.
