ARE WOMEN CITIZENS?

Apparently still to be determined.

The conversation on C-Span is well worth hearing.  It surely provides food for thought.

John Malcolm and Elizabeth Wydra Preview the 2021-22 Supreme Court Term

John Malcolm from the Heritage Foundation and Elizabeth Wydra of the Constitutional Accountability Center previewed the Supreme Court 2021-22 term and key case to watch.

–c-span info–
The Supreme Court is tailored as expressed by the Trump Administration to challenge the right of women of control of their own bodies.  Some militant old ’70’s Feminists have for years warned of the looming diminishing of rights for women to the status of patriarchal pet.  Responses from young ladies have been derisive because rights were enshrined somewhere.  To be enablers for patriarchy can be lucrative.
The difference between human rights and civil rights is that human are of The Creator while civil are permitted by legislation.  Be careful when you vote.  And live your human rights from The Creator.  One doesn’t know the reason The Creator placed the responsibility and burden of choice upon women, but It/She/He did.
One guest challenged the other guest on C-Span on the topic of the right of control over one’s own body that seems to refer to equality under the US Constitution.  The guest from the Heritage Foundation reminded the listeners that the US Constitution doesn’t protect the right to Citizenship.
Aside from the FACT that that statement needn’t be considered anything other than opinion, tradition should warn women of the requirement that citizenship for women needs to be specifically addressed.  As yet the Equal Rights Amendment has not been passed.
A reason some women may be militant ’70’s Feminists is having experienced 2nd-class citizenship in reference to law enforcement that at the time took domestic violence for granted.  Just as drunk driving was ignored by most law enforcement at the time, and it was, so was domestic violence ignored.
One wonders the number of domestic violence incidents that wouldn’t have happened if said drunk driver had been stopped on his way home by law enforcement.
So the implication by John Malcolm that suggests the right of a citizen is not ensconced in the US Constitution, and so choice isn’t implied, should be of particular interest to women.

The Equal Rights Amendment is a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution designed to guarantee equal legal rights for all American citizens regardless of sex. It seeks to end the legal distinctions between men and women in terms of divorce, property, employment, and other matters.

The point is made by Lee Camp that when big pharma profits, the Gates Foundation profits.  Having not looked at the balance sheets of either, I don’t know that this is FACTual.  It is worthy of consideration, and one looks forward to the debunking of this information.  Several thoughts–*Covid-19 has exposed the inadequacy of the American healthcare system*ACA is in place rather than a 1-payer comprehensive public healthcare policy*The medical-industry middlemen lobby to avoid a 1-payer public healthcare policy*One would be quite dull not to recognize exploitation of the system is the reason middlemen wish to continue the pay-to-play system*Censorship of politicians promoting a 1-payer public healthcare system was used during the 2020 Presidential campaign by the D&R duopoly*The Democrats were especially partisan and pro-middlemen in campaign games—–https://moguldom.com/298458/cornel-west-takes-off-on-jim-clyburn-for-being-owned-and-pimped-by-big-pharma-industry/*Campaign donations from the medical industry can be a motivating factor*The ACA seems to fund medical middlemen and supports the health industry that is functioning questionably as compared to healthcare systems in other industrialized nations
The Democratic Presidential election campaign availed itself of misogyny in it’s campaign strategy, adding fuel to the diminishing of the status of women as citizens.  The same characters engaged in this strategy also promoted a pay-to-play healthcare system rather than a 1-payer comprehensive public healthcare policy.  These are topics crucial to the health of a woman.  It is predictable that the next step is to legislate against a woman having autonomy over her body.
For the youngsters who don’t remember, this isn’t new.  This isn’t anything that hasn’t been experienced by older women.  A word to the wise should be sufficient: It seldom is.
In the conversation on C-Span about Supreme Court decisions, Mr. Malcolm didn’t say women could be excluded from citizenship.  He only challenged Elizabeth Wydra when she defended choice by women as protected under the US Constitution.  This is too close a side-swipe for some people.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
Along with Climate Change, many people oppose the imperialism of the USA under control of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.  Use of the wealth of our nation should be to enhance quality of life for We The People rather than for imperialism.  Some people vote accordingly.I———————–That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
