IS ECONOMY EUPHEMISM FOR DICTATORSHIP?
If people were living in a dictatorship, could control best be wielded over said people by using euphemism rather than direct challenge of control due to dictatorship? For example, if hierarchy stated boldly that the system of government precisely was in place to protect and promote interests of said hierarchy, said people could become restless. But if an idea was imposed in place of the concept of a system in place to protect and promote hierarchy, was used in place of direct language, people could become compliant. What if the euphemism used was “the economy”? Is this notion worthy of discussion?
dictatorship, form of government in which one person or a small group possesses absolute power without effective constitutional limitations….britannica.com…
Language is important and the above definition of dictatorship speaks of EFFECTIVE constitutional limitations.
Several observations about US policy and action—-*Another ubiquitous power-grid failure occurred in NYS due to Climate Change and an obsolete and centralized system*Meanwhile….https://thehill.com/policy/international/3271323-senators-heading-to-poland-india-germany-to-rally-ukraine-support/*Schumer promotes a 5G network in a continued model of selling new technology that ultimately typically fails or kills, while neglecting maintenance of each new technology in order to move onto the “next best technology” that is sold to the public, generating corporate profit and continued campaign donations to said politicians*Tenney was so-called elected into the position of Representative of The People, but has little to nothing to say or do in that capacity; apparently awaiting the 2nd-coming of Trump, when presumably she will jump into right-wing action to support commercial interests*The US government has a primary responsibility of welfare of the American people rather than promotion of American oligarchs*Both Gillibrand and Schumer voted for an incredible funding of the Pentagon, which has little to nothing to add to tackling Climate Change, which is a current, ongoing and deadly national security risk*Meanwhile……MSM talking heads are hair-on-fire about reported looming Russian cyber attacks on the US energy grid, which would be removed totally by up-grading and de-centralizing our energy grid….AKA modernization….*The inane funding of the Pentagon for war weapons instead of funding de-centralizing and up-dating the energy grid precisely exposes the US to national security risk from foreign or for that matter home-grown deviants*The money handed to the Pentagon for securing American-oligarch interests overseas could be used to put an individual solar system in each home, immediately removing any cyber-attack risk or wish from said deviants
If explicit promotion of interests of a few groups at the top of the echelon, rather than action to protect and serve We The People, isn’t a definition of dictatorship, one doesn’t know what would be a definition of dictatorship.

Is the phrase “back-sliding democracy” an euphemism for dictatorship?https://countercurrents.org/2022/04/the-climate-and-the-republic-melting-down-in-real-time/ –The United States is facing two grim prospects in 2022: one, that continued abuse of the ecosphere could render much of the Earth unlivable for humans and myriad other species, and two, that the United States’ current political drift toward autocratic rule could accelerate, dashing any hope of attaining a multiracial, pluralistic democracy. These two emergencies are intertwined. Either we find meaningful responses to both, or we fail dramatically on both.On our political peril, sober-minded elected officials, scholars, analysts, and others have for months been raising ever louder alarms. An attempted hijacking of the U.S. electoral process, they say, is under way. The Stockholm-based International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance moved the U.S. out of its “democracy” category late last year, classifying us instead as a “backsliding democracy.”–end of countercurrents info—

With no negative consequences of military overreach, especially after the dismantling of the Soviet Union, the U.S. unleashed war in its various forms (from direct attacks to sanctions, drones, and subversion) with a wanton disregard for its human and political consequences. Yet, even when massive numbers of U.S. troops were deployed in places like Afghanistan and Iraq, and other ancient cities whose names are in the great religious texts of the world, and reduced them to rubble, the awful reality of war was carefully hidden from the U.S. public. But the Ukraine war, at least the portion that began with the Russia “special operation” in February, was one of those instances where exposure to the dehumanized reality of war was welcomed. Why?–end of mronline info–

As some people see the current governance transition from a democratic (small d) Constitutional republic toward what can only be defined as fascism, if not organized crime on an international level, we must remember that ideas for our form of government were borrowed from the Iroguois Nation–https://www.history.com/news/iroquois-confederacy-influence-us-constitution –When the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met in 1787 to debate what form of government the United States should have, there were no contemporary democracies in Europe from which they could draw inspiration. The most democratic forms of government that any of the convention members had personally encountered were those of Native American nations.–end of history info–

From lakotalaw –As we approach November, Lakota Law’s organizers in South Dakota are prepared to move mountains to get out the Native vote and make sure Lakota Country maximizes its impact this critical election season. South Dakota’s long history of failing to comply with the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) means registration among its 76,000 Native Americans is abysmally low. That’s why we’ll register Native voters across all nine tribal nations and each major city in the state and assist with getting every vote counted. Please help fund this all-important Lakota voter registration and get-out-the-vote (GOTV) drive. Every dollar you can contribute now means another knock on a relative’s door, another call we’ll be able to make, or another ballot we’ll be able to say made a difference in the future of our democracyWe’re fighting hard because we must. Voter registration isn’t easy for us here. The number of new registrations originating at public assistance agencies dropped by more than 500 percent between 2004 and 2016 — which is why we’re also suing South Dakota over noncompliance with NVRA. The state has a gubernatorial election this year, and the last one was the tightest since the 1980s. With efforts by many states to restrict voting access and the added failure of Congress to pass comprehensive voter protections, it’s essentially up to people like you and me to ensure Native voices are heard. Our moccasins-on-the-ground approach is vital, and it’s already proven effective. As you may know, in 2018, we helped Standing Rock’s North Dakota districts double voter turnout over the previous midterm election. And in 2020, we ran our Standing Rock the Vote phone bank. We called more than a quarter million Native and environmental voters who made history in swing states like Arizona and Georgia. This time around, we’ll again partner with tribal leadership, employ tribal citizens, and focus on changing the game in South Dakota. We’ll secure and train our organizers between now and June, conduct canvassing from June to mid-September, and start phone banking in early October. Please stay with us every step of the way, and help us get the job done!Wopila tanka — thank you, sincerely, for your dedicated support.
