WHEN INDUSTRY WORRIES ABOUT THE SOUL OF THE COMMUNITY
This morning C-Span hosted a conversation that seemed to migrate back to voting rights and voter cognizance. Cognizance seems more imperiled than rights, one may say. Little is mentioned about the erroneous “2-Party system” about which one constantly hears, and also little is discussed about Citizens United which is the Supreme Court decision that permits money to buy politicians which appears to be corruption. We should avoid the appearance of corruption in our political process, or we are not following the model of a democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.
As one who is enthusiastically in favor of Andrew Yang due to policies and ideas about which the average politician seems depleted, one probably rates him second only to Bernie Sanders in ability for leadership. The only reason he is second is his lack of history that suggests the need for closer monitoring against corruption after power is attained. Bernie Sanders is tried and true.

https://mailchi.mp/nader/what-are-torts-theyre-everywhere-hpdj8uc22h?e=cfd1bea9b5 –There are, of course, more systematic ways to inform Americans about tort law. Bring the high school curriculums down to earth and educate students about this great pillar of American freedom. Devote one of the 600 cable channels in America to teaching citizens about the law, and how to use it to improve levels of justice in our country.–end of ralphnader info–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ep8ulAtTXY&t=4s –Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns, mainly caused by human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels.–end of tort info–
Several thoughts–*The public educational system seems lacking in many areas of teaching about concepts of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic due to occupation by hierarchical Establishment*The judicial system is as similarly occupied by hierarchical Establishment that protects against questioning from the public*Money corrupts and holds a priority in our political systems including the court system, over principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic*A Free Press is necessary to maintain principles of a democratic (small d) Constitutional republic rather than a system of corruption*The persecution of Julian Assange is an example of abuse of journalists in favor of corporate-owned-politically-motivated MSM talking heads*It is better to be rich and guilty than poor and innocent in our judicial system*To speak out can result in the same black-listing as made famous during the Red Scare era https://www.history.com/news/7-famous-victims-of-the-hollywood-blacklist
https://wildhunt.org/2021/12/indigenous-ceremonial-centers-destroyed-in-colombia.html –MIAMI – Indigenous communities along Colombia’s northern Caribbean coast have been the targets of a series of attacks to destroy sacred sites by arson. The attacks are linked to the Indigenous people’s resistance to the exploitation of the land, specifically their opposition to illegal mining and their constant protection of their sacred land and environmental advocacy.–end of wildhunt info–
The wildhunt story will be held up as an example of the corruption in foreign nations toward local communities that stand up for human or environmental rights. The official presumption is that such corruption is only in foreign nations, not the USA. That is emblematic of propaganda. https://portside.org/2021-12-28/why-very-worst-people-really-dont-want-us-look –“Conservatives” on the Supreme Court don’t want Americans to look up at how they legalized political bribery with their 1970s Buckley and Bellotti and 2010 Citizens United decisions that have turned politicians into shills for the same billionaires and giant industries that spent millions putting them on the Court.”Small government” freaks don’t want you to look up at how trust in our government has fallen from over 80% in the 1960s to fewer than 30% today, or how that’s the direct result of Reagan’s “government is not the solution to your problems, it is the problem” hustle that led to Trumpism and is today tearing America apart.Republican governors don’t want their citizens to look up at how they continue to use racist tropes and dog-whistle appeals to frighten and thus hang onto a majority of the white vote.–end of portside info–
Cynicism by the public is a reasonable response to obvious corruption that permeates the USA.
The framework of the above portside info is pro-Democratic Party as it omits several FACTS; for example–*https://www.vox.com/2016/5/17/11680904/bernie-sanders-nevada-convention*https://www.gp.org/hr_1*The Democratic Party counterbalances the Republican Party in oppressing voices other than those of the Republican/Democratic duopoly
