The history of the USA is taught to the public from the perspective of hierarchical Establishment.  The FACTS of our history are far different and spoken if at all in hushed whispers.  One monumental FACT of American history must be the witch hunts of New England.  We all know of them, but more as a fairy tale than as the reality of our nation.  

In 2021 as the USA is reported to backslide as relates to democracy and school children become frightened to go to school due to fear of death, perhaps a more stark honesty is required as to who we are.  The topic of sin is heard from quarters of obfuscation demanding adherence to institutional religion; when some people see sin more surely as a form of insanity.  Could the witch hunts of New England suggest the origin of such infirmity?  
We also have an example of hierarchical authority in the person of Trump who repeatedly insults some women when he says his critics perpetrate a witch hunt against him.  He seems to use the phrase that applies to his victims, rather than to him.

The witch hunts of New England are a weak extension of the same in Europe throughout an extended time period.  
C-Span this morning again touched upon the validity of teaching CRT in school, with one gentleman actually calling in to inform that all white people are evil.  This interesting assessment was followed by a caller stating a history in which imperialism toward European nations from outside were mentioned, during which the moderator cut this caller short with the expression that we “needed to get back to 2021”.  Indeed.  History in general has been given short shrift in order to promote the views of capitalistic hierarchical Establishment.  To discuss the FACTual history according to race rather than in its entirety is too cute.  Who did capitalistic hierarchy practice upon if not white people?
