The environment has been exploited as a natural resource for profit when it is more FACTually associated with humanity and animals. Harm inflicted upon the environment for profit is resulting in Climate Change that is harming human health. Designation of nature as a Mother is an apt description, but leaves our environment exposed to the predatory presumption of capitalism.

The wealth of the nation is therefore spent on The Military-Industrial Complex rather than, for example, a 1-payer health care system. The equipment for war such as guns, tanks, and bombs are simply more exciting than are local health-care clinics.
The noise, power, and pollution of gas-powered engines seem more intimidating than electric vehicles. Participating in an armed militia is more forceful than participating in local town-board meetings to advance gentle and loving lifestyle in a community.
Tony Gonzalez–Texas-D—-10:25AM—speaks to domestic violence awareness month. This is another indication of imbalance in our nation. As wounded warriors are given well-earned support, domestic violence recipients are often ignored. This is a same strategy of “privacy” as used toward rape victims, expressed in terms of concern for said victim, but that is indicative of maintaining blame on the victim and in a certain way protecting the perpetrator. Rape isn’t about sex, it’s about violence.
An example of a mindset that may be askew is that of the women’s soccer team, who most of Americans recall with pride. The excellence of ability along with entertainment value that drew attention of so many fans was under remunerated as compared to that of the men’s soccer team. The courts found that a lack of negotiating was the reason the women’s soccer team receiving less compensation regardless of performance, which implies reward based on a quality other than performance. This is depraved. This also speaks to the exploitation that is built into our current system of capitalism which is hierarchical and predatory and in FACT flies in the face of principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.

A better course could be to remember principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.
