RIGGED NATION

On involvement in Ukraine, US leaders have warned the US public that pain could be felt at home.  How is this supportive of the USA and We The People?…..And to what end?– read more

GENERATORS OR STADIUMS?

An important and ignored topic is the negligence from elected officials and bureaucrats toward the local community members in the USA.  Some politicians seem to cater to the whims of big-money interests using the deflection of the importance of the economy.  The so-called economy envisioned by these bureaucrats and elected officials seem to be limited to the transfer of the wealth of the nation from the 100% to the 1%. read more

DEMOCRATIZING THE ECONOMY

As long as we’re going to fixate on the economy rather than principles of our democratic Constitutional republic, we could start by democratizing the economy. read more

FREE MARKETS AND US AMNESIA

On this small-business Saturday, free market concepts should be important.  In the USA, corporate-owned politicians have put into place laws and policies that significantly undermine local sole proprietorship in favor of chain store privilege. read more

DEMAND FREE MARKETS

Breathtaking is any presumption that attack on nature can be perpetrated without an accompanying attack on humanity.  This is emblematic of hierarchical Establishment indoctrination that has urged humanity to identify with corporations rather than nature.   read more

WHEN COMPETITION IS AMONG CONSUMERS

The topic of the awkward Trump tariff has roiled in one’s mind for some time, and it is mystifying that few others notice this albatross around the neck of the US public.  Typically a tariff is imposed in order to balance American imports and exports to enhance exports over imports to accomplish the end of cash flowing into the USA  rather than out of the USA.  The US governing body duopoly of Democrats and Republicans have collaborated over years to send manufacturing and jobs overseas.  And so to place a tax upon imports accomplishes nothing other than further taxing the US consumer.  One has heard bureaucrats ‘splain away the Trump tariff by saying it was implemented for geo-political reasons.  This charmingly snarky ‘splanation is typical of the jargon that passes for news these days.  And too many of the public smiles and nods and says “oh, okay”. read more

IS IT TOO COMPLICATED?

As one who supported Kaepernick for months before it became popular, and by the way simultaneously objected to the “b” word due to self respect, one was amused when the tipping point in favor of Kaepernick happened when the “b” word was used by Trump, that garnered attention because suddenly-awakened people said it was a negative reflection on mothers, from groups who previously used the “b” word as a commonplace. read more

VOTE FOR POLICY OR CHARACTER?

C-Span presented the following discussion and well worth hearing.  As for Liz Cheney, I hold her in high regard for integrity but in low esteem for policy.  Trickle Down has worked well for the Cheney’s, but is a corrupt economic policy as regards free markets, in one person’s opinion. Especially partnered with Citizens United and www.alec.org, it is a system to transfer the wealth of the nation from to the top of the Pyramid Scheme.  But that’s as applies to the economy and the Reagan notions.  As applies to the integrity of Liz Cheney, this seems to pertain to democracy, and is a system, if voters are awake, that can challenge Trickle Down Theories even while those supporting democracy are proponents for Trickle Down..  And so one can imagine voting for Liz Cheney as compared to, for example, voting for a Duopoly-owned President mouthing admirable policies but lacking integrity. read more

MAGIC OF INFLATION

C-Span asked the question this morning, “can the government get inflation under control”.   A better question could be the reason the Trump Administration began the trajectory of snow-balling inflation.  read more

THE TRANSFER OF WEALTH TO THE WEALTHY IS GOING WELL

To simply understand 2 separate Trump bureaucratic policy enactments may raise questions.  “Tax cuts” are the rallying cry of Conservatives, and some of the electorate who may be non-wealthy seem to imagine they are included in said tax cuts, when FACTually only the wealthy and most often commercial interests may be the beneficiaries.  This seems to be the case in the Trump tax cut of January 2018.  Coincidentally also enacted was what seems to be a tax increase on mostly low-income Americans in the Trump tariff enactment. read more

THE “C” WORD

Lee Camp speaks of the delicacy with which capitalistic hierarchical Establishment avoids using the word capitalism, as the public begins to awaken to the reality that capitalism isn’t synonymous with democracy.  Capitalism is an economy theory.  Monetary systems are useful when We The People feel encumbered with hauling around a cow to trade for a barrel of apples, for example.  Capitalism is a perfectly valid system of economy.  In contrast, capitalism as a governing principle, in other places and times, were more honestly called fascism, communism, or perhaps dictatorship. read more
