THE “C” WORD

Lee Camp speaks of the delicacy with which capitalistic hierarchical Establishment avoids using the word capitalism, as the public begins to awaken to the reality that capitalism isn’t synonymous with democracy.  Capitalism is an economy theory.  Monetary systems are useful when We The People feel encumbered with hauling around a cow to trade for a barrel of apples, for example.  Capitalism is a perfectly valid system of economy.  In contrast, capitalism as a governing principle, in other places and times, were more honestly called fascism, communism, or perhaps dictatorship. read more

FINE THE POOR OR TAX THE RICH?

The money to run government must come from somewhere.  Citizens United seems an apt system in which Pyramid Schemes thrive. read more

THE ECONOMY, STUPID?

Biden ‘splains “core inflation” to America, in which the inflation rate is 0%, considering the price of somethings went up while the price of other things went down.  For example, cheaper are diamonds, yachts, foreign boarding schools, and high-end vehicles.  Unfortunately food, gasoline, day care, housing, health care  and family vehicles are priced out of availability for the average consumer.   (This isn’t necessarily a quote but more nearly a paraphrase dripping with sarcasm…and yes the use of sarcasm implies derision) read more

QUESTIONS, ANYONE?

Marija Gimbutas is an archaeologist who expresses controversial views.  Controversy seems to originate from views of past cultures that aren’t embedded in patriarchy, or one may say yang.  In the following LA Times story about her, you will find many said criticisms.  Many women, however, could be interested to consider that women throughout history were vital members of society.  That aggression and violence have often defined “the winners”, one shouldn’t be surprised that history is written by said “winners”. read more

WHO DOES YOUR REPRESENTATIVE REPRESENT?

Capitalism has mandated and legislated regulations and lifestyle by which many of We The People have accepted as rational and in one’s best interests, but FACTually speaking they may be nothing other than sales techniques to enrich hierarchy and commercial interests.  This renter was weary of paying $1,200 per month in rent along with expenses, and imagined living arrangements that suit his personal ability, choices, and lifestyle. read more

IS ECONOMY EUPHEMISM FOR DICTATORSHIP?

If people were living in a dictatorship, could control best be wielded over said people by using euphemism rather than direct challenge of control due to dictatorship? For example, if hierarchy stated boldly that the system of government precisely was in place to protect and promote interests of said hierarchy, said people could become restless.  But if an idea was imposed in place of the concept of a system in place to protect and promote hierarchy, was used in place of direct language, people could become compliant.  What if the euphemism used was “the economy”?  Is this notion worthy of discussion? read more

WHEN PYRAMID ECONOMY CRUMBLES

Because the USA seems more intent on “spreading democracy around the world” than promoting democracy in the USA, many local-community members are practicing democracy in their own interest.   read more

GIFT ECONOMY

At about 1:20PM on 3/31 listening to npr (apologies for failing to get the name of the Russian professor who was assessing effect of sanctions on Russian oligarchs) she informed that the sanctions on Russian oligarchs were personally harming the oligarchs without effecting their influence on Putin.  This soundly reinforces the view from some people that Putin is challenging fascism (Western values) in Ukraine from a position of what may be ostensibly seen as the perspective of the concept of a Tsar. read more

BOTH HOUSES OF COMMERCE

This morning the host of C-Span, who seems to use all of her faculties to maintain a forum of Free Speech and fairness, seemed to express truth rather than FACT as she reported that Zalensky would address “both Houses of Commerce” instead of  using the state-approved label of “both Houses of Congress”.   read more

LEAD BY EXAMPLE

Remembering that the Haudenosaunee are said to be the origin of principles included in the US Constitution that don’t appear to rest on a foundation of capitalism but rather on a foundation of free enterprise as pertains to but are not limited to financial matters, hope continues that culture as lived pre-colonization can triumph.  Time will tell.  Meanwhile, Upstate NY is benefiting, so far, from said leadership.  The hope builds that we remember nature and the wilderness. read more

RAIDERS FOR JUSTICE RATHER THAN Profit

Capitalistic PR indoctrinates into prioritizing material possession as the height of human achievement.  That this possession comes with a contrasting decrease in principles of fairness and justice isn’t questioned.  A system of education that would be better used to teach self-reliance, autonomy, and ability to self-govern is instead used to train into compliance to hierarchical demands and consumerism.  We could explore the possibilities of a human life other than as a component in an economy that so dramatically buoys interests of hierarchy at the expense of everyone else.  Put plainly, what’s in it for everyone else? read more

THEATER OF CAPITALISM

Did anyone seriously expect good governance for We The People from either branch of the Republican/Democratic duopoly (American Capitalist Party)?    If so, denial is evident as has been the ire directed to those who remind wokesters that to go hat-in-hand to big-money campaign donors to beg voting rights from those responsible for putting in place the deleterious electoral process to begin with.  But what about the MSM that encouraged said delusion?  Indoctrination into capitalism seems the reason for said naivete.   read more
